Anesthesia beginnings: Oxygen therapy

Today, we show the fifth in a series of vignettes, this one lasting one minute, based on a video produced by Dr. Betty Bamforth, a Ralph Waters resident, and Dirk Wales, a filmmaker, on behalf of the Anesthesia History Association.

In this particular vignette, humidification of oxygen is described.  At the time, oxygen therapy was not as sophisticated as it is today.
